Mariah Carey visited the Library of Congress on Thursday evening, Dec. 14, at the conclusion of Live! at the Library. She came to see the Christmas tree and holiday decorations, as well as Library collections and copyright items related to her career. Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden presented a certificate to Carey commemorating the induction of her hit song “All I Want For Christmas is You” in the 2023 National Recording Registry. The selection was announced in April.
